Goodbye Berkeley

We had a little feast before my departure from 1325 parker street. 40 lbs of tomatoes. squid. salsa verde. olive oil and lots of red wine. oh and graham brought the turntable.

Christine Mannoux, secret cafe aficionado, organized a speakeasy at Pizzaiolo, Oakland. here are a few pictures from the event. windows were taped up, people dressed up, and classic prohibition cocktails and delicious bites were served. the event concluded with an amazing dance party, as per usual for a Pizzaiolo happening.....

Coconut Cake!

For our lovely friend jessica's birthday we made a fresh coconut cake to celebrate. i think we all decided that coconut cake is the best cake.
